This is my card for Ways to Use it 373. I think next to embossing, distressing is my favorite thing to do. If it's not, I sure don't know why I do it all the time. I have torn the paper, inked and distressed all my edges.
BG is Pink Paislee CS embossed with my new Crafts-too embossing folder. Embossing is then inked lightly.
The brown paper is a piece of wrinkled packing paper that I ironed, tore, inked and popped up. I glued a stiff piece of CS on the back as the paper was thin and I thought it might tear.
Last but not least I added the magnificent crocheted flower - an RAK from lacyquilter and the really classy button that I found in one of my jars. They are stuck on with hot glue. Well, that's about it and thankfully, it's the card and not me that's distressed today.

Love the textured background and the uncoloured image with that gorgeous crochet flower - lots of interest in the background but letting the flower take centre stage. I just spotted some lilac when we were coming back from the library last night - I need to find some where I can smell it before it's all gone.

You certainly "do" distressed cards so well, this is another beauty!! Your torn and inked brown packing paper looks terrific, great idea, and I just love your flower and button.
